Happy Campers is dedicated to the health and safety of every child in our care.  The pandemic did its best to put us all to the test.  We met the challenge with some great tools.  #1, we created and maintained stable groups.  #2, we purchased portable sinks for every classroom, so hand washing could be convenient and frequent.  No more running to the bathroom just for hand washing! #3,  medical grade air purifiers in each room donated from the San Francisco based company called Molekule.  We were the lucky recipients of their generosity!  Not only do the air purifiers reduce airborne  allergens and viruses, they also significantly reduced the smell of smoke during fire season.  Happy Campers continues to do daily health screenings with touch-less temperature readings and requires parents to complete a brief questionnaire at drop-off.  For up-to-date information on Covid Guidance for Child Care Centers, please click the button.

Update:  

Happy Campers Preschool knows how important it is to ensure the health and safety of children in our care. Considering how that definition has been elevated with regards to Covid, we want families to know staff at all 3 sites is 100% vaccinated and is requiring any new staff to be fully vaccinated before starting employment. In addition, we decided to survey our families to learn the percentage of families who are fully vaccinated. We are very excited to report 96.3% of reporting families are fully vaccinated. There is great comfort in knowing the adults between home and school are doing all they can to protect children our care.
